Abstract
730,438. Toys. STEINER, F. July 17, 1953 [Nov. 3, 1952], No. 19915/53. Class 132(3). A toy figure is made of plastic and comprises body members 1, 2 having thin flat side walls 3, 4 and thicker edge portions 5, 6, the latter being glued together and provided with locating holes and pins 7, 8. A sound producing device 13 is operated by passage of air when the side walls 3, 4 are flexed. Fig. 2 shows wheels 17 fitted to the toy and they may have extended hubs to give greater width between the wheels, Fig. 4 (not shown). Alternatively, the feet members may be made wider, Fig. 5 (not shown). Fig. 3 shows a widened foot 19 of a figure which has no wheels. The toy may be painted with waterproof, acid and alkaliresisting paints. More than one sound producing device may be provided.
