Cover strips 10 of hardened or toughened steel are secured to the mild steel members 12 forming an overhead conveyer track by the strips 10 being formed with lugs 11 which enter and project through corresponding slots 13 in the track members 12, the projecting portions of the lugs being then twisted to lock the strip 10 in position.
