Guides for sliding vehicle windows comprising a metal body strip 1 with a rubber layer 6 and felt or velvet lining 7 are of U-section with one limb higher than the other, this limb having outwardly extending lugs 5 separated by gaps of equal length. Transverse slots 2 in the strip extend between margins 3, 4 which, when the guide is curved with its limbs directed towards the centre of curvature, are disposed along arcs of equal radius.
