Classes 97(1) and 98(1) In a television receiver having an optical projection system in which the image to be projected is reflected from a mirror 5 facing the cathode-ray tube 1. the mirror 5 has a central aperture opposite the tube behind which is located a photographic camera 14 for photographing the projected image. A kinematograph camera, synchronized in known manner, may replace the camera 14. The projection system may also include an apertured plane mirror 4, a correction plate 7 and a plane mirror 8, by means of which an image is formed on a translucent screen 10. The camera may have a roll-film magazine 15 arranged for easy removal. Spindles 20, 21 operating the film winding and shutter mechanisms respectively may be connected to a gear-box 16 also. connected to an exposure counter 17. Preferably, the arrangement is such that on depressing the button 19 of a flexible release 18 the exposure is made and the film is wound. A signal lamp may operate when the film in the camera is completely exposed. According to the Provisional Specification, the camera 14 may also include a mirror.
