Class 132(1) A roundabout rotatable about an inclined axis comprises an annular rotatable platform A formed by sections mounted on battens a carried by a central hub a' which is mounted on a spindle a" resting in a bearing b on top of a pillar B, the battens having runners a<SP>4</SP> at their outer ends travelling over a track C, and a second segmental platform D, which supports car; or seats, mounted on battens d having their inner ends loosely mounted on the spindle and their outer ends carrying runners d engaging a track d<SP>2</SP> on the main platform Preferably the lower end of spindle a forms a ball to engage hemispherical bear ing b. The outer ends of battens a carry legs a<SP>3</SP>, whose lengths vary as shown, Fig. 2, mounted on runners a<SP>4</SP> which engage circular track C also supported on pillars c whose lengths vary as shown in Fig. 2. Platform A is driven by electric motor E<SP>1</SP> through gearing. As platform A rotates the runners a<SP>4</SP> travel over track C and cause the inclination of platform A to vary. Platform D may oscillate as platform A rotates or may rotate in the same or the opposite direction. A brake may be provided to vary the motion of the platform D.
