Abstract

A flux bath having an amine hydrochloride as its active agent, into which a commutator and its lead are immersed prior to immersion in a solder bath, preferably comprises a solution of 32 per cent. diethylamine hydrochloride in water. The solder may comprise 2.5 per cent. silver, and 97.5 per cent. lead or 1.5 per cent. silver, 1 per cent. tin and 97.5 per cent. lead.
