Abstract
In the electrodeposition of chromium anodes of an alloy containing 4-12 per cent. tin, 1-10 per cent. silver, 0.1-2.5 per cent. cobalt and the remainder lead are employed. A specific example contains 8 per cent. tin, 4 per cent. silver, 2 per cent. cobalt and 86 per cent. lead. The Specification also refers to a lead alloy containing 30-40 per cent. tin and 0.1-0.5 per cent. cobalt and to a lead alloy containing 50-60 per cent silver.
