Abstract

713,733. Constructional angle bars. METALRAX, Ltd. June 15, 1951 [July 12, 1950; Dec. 12, 1950], Nos. 17418/50 and 30304/50. Class 20 (2). [Also in Group XXIII) Slotted angle bars adapted to be secured together by bolts placed through overlapping parts of the slots each have one flange formed with a row of parallel slots 12, the slots being inclined, Fig. 1, or at right angles, Fig. 5, to the edge of the flange whilst the other flange has a row of slots 15 which are disposed longitudinally thereof. One flange 11 may be twice the width of the other flange 14 and the slots arranged so that each slot 15, Fig. 5, is opposite a pair of the slots 12. One end portion of each inclined slot 12, Fig. 1, overlaps the opposite end portion of the next inclined slot and the longitudinal slots 15 are disposed opposite to alternately inclined slots 12.
