Abstract

A plain bearing (see Group XXXIV) is proviided with a porous surface of molybdenum which is sulphided by the use of a balanced gas mixture of hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide at a sulphiding temperature of 800-850 DEG C. Specifications 657,080 and 657,085, [both in Group XXXIV], are referred to.
