710,925. Stuffing-box substitutes. WESTING- HOUSE ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL CO. Sept. 9, 1952 [Oct. 26, 1951], No. 22603/52. Class 122(5) [Also in Group XXXVII] The operating spindle 68 of an electric circuit breaker (see Group XXXVII) is enclosed by a rubber, or synthetic rubber, sleeve 108 clamped to the spindle by a U-clamp 110 and bolt 111. The other end of the sleeve is similarly clamped to a flange 113 of a casing part 87. The surface of the spindle is coated with a dry lubricant, e.g. graphite.
