709,145. Flats for egg-cases. KORTNER, A. Jan. 2, 1952 [Jan. 4, 1951], No. 198/52. Class 18 [Also in Group VIII] Flats for egg-boxes &c. of the kind having humps 3 on one flat supporting the next higher flat at its depressed portions 2, are formed with a ridge 4 connecting the tops of all humps 3 in one line across the flat. The ridge 4 stiffens the flat against bending when held at 9, 9, and, if cut or torn at 5, 5 allows the sheet to be doubled overalong a line 6 for packing a small number of eggs &c.
