Abstract

723,756. Show cards. KINGSWAY PRESS, Ltd. Feb. 26, 1954 .[Nov. 28, 1952], No. 30177/52. Class 3 (2). A show card for the tops of jars, bottles and other articles comprises a card of paper, cardboard or other suitable material 1 from which is cut out a figure 8, with two parts 9 being left connected to the card 1. A cut 3 near the base 2 of the card 1 forms a strip and to the front of this strip is secured at its ends a separate strip 5 so that the two strips 5 can be opened out to form a band (see Fig. 3) when the figure 8 stands out from the now concave card 1. The strip 5 may be provided with a projecting portion 13 (see Fig. 4, not shown) such as a hand..The strip 5 may also be formed from the card 1 as is the strip 4 (see Fig. 5, not shown). The card may be illuminated by lights at the back and above it.
