Abstract

708,459. Typewriters &c. CREED & CO., Ltd. Nov. 7, 1951, No. 26059/51. Class 100 (4) Keys.-A key-button comprises a transparent moulded cap 5 united to a base 3 to enclose and seal a character disc 4 in a dust free manner. The cap may be moulded from polystyrene or methyl methacrylate and formed with an internally protruding lug to engage a recess in the disc and so prevent its rotation. When a polystyrene mounded cap is used it is united to the base 3 by applying industrial alcohol which acts as a solvent. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 534,976.
