A suction head comprises an elongated dished plate 10 which is connected to a source of suction e.g., a, fan casing 12 and a stand pipe 15 by a pipe 11 projecting into the concavity of the head 10. The latter is adjustably positioned, so as to collect toe nail clippings, by a folding bracket 17 and a flexible pipe 16 which together with the plate 10 is of transparent plastic material.
