Abstract

707,940. Draining and pastry &c. boards. HOOD, J. July 1, 1953 [April 1, 1952], No. 8228/52. Class 28(2) A work table panel 8 or a pastry board is stored underneath a dish draining board 1 and can be slid out from underneath to rest on a sink 10 in working position. The panel 8 slides in grooves 7 in the side pieces 3 supporting the draining board 1, and is provided with a stop piece 11 to abut against a tie bar 9 connecting the ends of the side pieces 3. A pull out handle 12 is secured on the panel and a rubber strip 13 underneath, cushions its rest on the sink edge. The draining' grooves 2 of the draining board may diverge to direct drained water clear of the sides of the panel.. The panel may be made of sheet metal, porcelain, patterned glass, plastic &c.
