704,045. Hat boxes. FAILSWORTH HATS, Ltd. Dec. 29, 1952 [Dec. 28, 1951], No. 30271/51. Classes 94 (1) and 133 A hat box 15 has supporting means for the hats comprising a cardboard lamina 11 having an aperture 18 to receive a hat crown and slits 12 so that the side regions 13 can be bent down to form vertical supports, me corner pieces 14 being folded inwardly and secured by staples or adhesive. Arcuate slits 16 enable a flap 17 on each side to be turned up and the folded supports fit closely into the box 15. An auxiliary member 19 inserted in the aperture 18 supports the brim of the hat clear of the lamina and each lamina may support more than one hat.
