Abstract

701,809. Dispensing liquids. CHURCHILL, H. W. S., and SCHOFIELD, C. S. April 22, 1952 '[April 25, 1951], No. 9622/51. Class 116 [Also in Groups XXV and XXVIII] Detachable and interchangeable means for securing containers of different neck sizes to a dispenser unit socket comprises a socket adaptor unit consisting of a ring 4 attached by screw 3 to the socket 1 of a dispenser 2. The ring has spaced lugs 5 of the required size to suit the neck of 8 of the container of complementary shape so that the container can be secured to the unit by inserting in the socket and partly rotating. The lower edge of the neck rests on a resilient pad 9. Further lugs can be provided on the ring, to correspond with complementary notches on the neck lugs. In an alternative form a liner is used instead of the ring. Specifications 664,105, 676,096 and 700,818, [Group XXVIII], are referred to.
