Abstract

700,269. Handle fixings. GLOV, H. Jan. 21, 1952 [Jan. 24, 1951], No. 1648/52. Class 61 A paint brush or other tool is pivotally attached to a stick by means of a holder comprising a pair of sockets in which the brush and stick respectively are releasably clamped. As shown the socket 6 in which the stick is clamped by a screw and wing nut 8, 9 is secured to a disc 10. The brush 1 is clamped in the socket 2 and secured to a disc 5 by a screw 3, and wing nut 4, the screw 3 serving to pivotally join the two discs 5, 10 and the nut 4 serving to lock the two discs in adjusted position. The marginal parts of the discs have intermeshing grooves.
