698,373. Ammunition packing. FREEMAN, W. S. March 20,1952 [Aug. 15, 1951], No. 19300/51. Class 9(i) [Also in Group XVII] A box for detonators is formed of resilient material and comprises a partition 11 from the underside of which depend bosses 19 having bores 20 for the detonators. The bosses are connected by webs 21, 22 to the box wall and to the central boss 18, which may extend from a sunken portion 17 of the partition. A cap (not shown) has a bead fitting in a groove 24 in the box rim and lugs corresponding to lugs 28 to permit wiring for security. A boss on the cap limits head room above the central boss. The cap may have peripheral beads facilitating manipulation.
