Abstract

<PICT:0698315/III/1> A sponge-wetting dish comprises a grate held by springs above the level of water in a container, which grate can be pushed down against the spring action, so that a sponge is wetted by pressing it down on the grate. The wall of a water container 1 has in four places, spaced at 90 degrees, vertical guides 2 into which fit sliders 6 of a grate 4. The grate 4 has slot-like holes and is held above the level of water in the container 1 by compression springs 7 in the guide holes 2. The sponge is pressed down on the grate with the fingers so that the grate is pushed down and the compressed sponge is brought into contact with the water.
