Abstract
In the centrifugal casting of chilled iron tubular bodies, e.g grinding or milling rolls, the iron used may contain 3.3 to 4.0 per cent of C, 0.1 to 1.0 of Si, 0.2 to 1.25 of Mn, not more than 0.5 of P or 0.2 of S, and up to 3 of Cr or 0.4 of V, or both, with or without other alloying elements.
