Abstract

694,928. Intercommunication systems. MODERN TELEPHONES (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd., and ADLER, A. E. Oct. 15, 1961, No. 24038/51. Class 40 (iv). In an intercommunication system comprising a number of stations using a common speech circuit, a relay controlled from any of the stations connects an amplifier and loud-speaker to the common speech circuit for paging purposes. As shown, calls between stations are initiated by depressing a button in a calling set PB which operates a buzzer BZ until the calling circuit is disabled by hook switch SH when the called station answers. The button 1 is used for paging calls and causes relay R to connect an amplifier A and loudspeaker LS to the common speech circuit L1, L2 over contact r2, the relay holding over r1 and the operated hook switch contact SH2 of the calling station.
