Class 52(i) One or more retractable rollers or castors 11 are provided on the bottom of a suitcase and can be released to fall by gravity, preferably assisted by spring hinges 26, each held by a spring catch 22. A cable 20, operated by twisting the handle 12, releases the catches 22 and retracts the rollers into their housing 10.
