Classes 21 and 66 A device for delivering liquid from a sealed container has two tubular piercing members 11, 12 mounted in a holder 9 which receives the container C, the member 11 serving to admit air and the member 12 serving as a delivery tube and arranged to be rotated by a handle 22 so that a cutter 23 cuts a hole in the container. The member 12 has a side aperture 24 which may be engaged with a pouring spout 15 for delivering the liquid. By turning the member 12 the connection between the container C and the spout 15 may be cut off, the member 12 serving as a rotary valve. The container C is pushed into the holder and forced against the piercing edges 11 a, 23 of the members 11, 12 so as to be pierced by them and the member 12 is rotated to cut a disc out of the container, which is then pushed home against a gasket 17 of cork, rubber, &c., where it is held by claws 25. The rotatable member 12 may have more than one cutter 23.
