Class 52(i) An invalid's bedstead, of the kind provided with wheeling legs and with feet having auxiliary foot-ends and castors which may be alternately brought into engagement with the floor by means of operating gear, is characterized by the provision of a wheeled underframe arranged between the head and foot ends. As shown the wheeled underframe D is provided with legs D<SP>2</SP> secured to the side members at D<SP>3</SP> and having castors &c. B, C. The foot end comprises legs A<SP>2</SP> having telescopic feet A interconnected by a bar A<SP>3</SP> having an upright member A' arranged telescopically in a tube AS with operating mechanism operable by a handle A‹ to raise and lower the feet A. A mattress of any suitable form may be mounted on the bedstead. Specification 690,231 is referred to.
