Abstract

688,809. Sets. MODERN TELEPHONES (GREAT BRITAIN), Ltd. July 13, 1951, No. 16717/51. Drawings to Specification. Class 40 (iv). In a telephone subset the cradle or the like for the handset is detachably secured to a member which is in turn detachably secured to a pivoted lever which operates the switching contacts, and by the use of differently shaped members the same subset may be adapted for use either as a desk set or a wall set. The member may be resilient, this feature being described and claimed in Specification 688,808.
