688,576. Wrappers. EGG FILLERS & CONTAINERS (AUSTRALIA) PROPRIETARY, Ltd. Nov. 15, 1950, No. 27954/50. Class 94(ii) A corrugated protective wrapper for bottles and similar fragile articles is made of moulded wood pulp or the like, with the corrugations 1 subdivided into several series or groups by transverse flat or un-corrugated bands 2 intermediate similar flat edges 5, 6 along the top and bottom. The wrappers are normally made in sheet form with flat vertical edges 3 which are brought together to form a sleeve or tube and secured by staples or the like 4. Instead of the flat portions 2 extending substantially around the wrapper, as shown, they may be arranged as a series of short arcuate portions in relatively staggered groups, Fig 5 (not shown), separated by flat portions parallel with the corrugations.
