685,407. Photographic roll-film cameras. AGFA CAMERA WERK MUNCHEN (U.S. ADMINISTRATION). Jan. 9, 1951 [Feb. 15, 1950], No. 671/51. Class 98 (i). The pressure-plate of a photographic roll-film camera has a depression of a depth within the range 20-200 Á in the side thereof which engages the backing of a film in the picture gate so that the film in the gate is concave towards the camera lens. The pressure-plate shown is connected by springs 5 to the camera back 4 and is in two parts 6, 7 of which the part 6 is connected to the springs 5. Springs 8 connect the part 7 with the part 6 and the part 7 has flanges 7a for engaging the margins of a film 3 in the picture gate 2. This part 7 has the depression 9 therein.
