684,570. Potter's boards. ESSEX AERO, Ltd., and CROSS, R. J. March 19, 1951 [March 29, 1950], No. 7912/50. Class 34 (ii) A potter's board or similar panel-like article comprises two metal sheets 10, 11 spaced apart by frusto-conical members 13 as described in Specification 677,271, [Group X], the edge of the board being closed by a metal strip 12 formed with grooves to receive the edges of the sheets 10, 11. The outer walls of the grooves are bent over to retain the edges of the sheets. The ends of the strip 12 may be secured together by welding or riveting or by a butt strap. In a modification, the strip may comprise longitudinally staggered inner and outer strips.
