Abstract

674,241. Signs. CAMPBELL, J. C. Sept. 14, 1949 [July 18, 1949], No. 18807/49. Class 3(ii) An interchangeable price sign or indicator comprises an envelope a open at its ends and having two or m o r e apertures and adapted to receive price slips g, l displaying numerals, each slip being formed from a blank folded to constitute a set of panels in superposed relation and each panel bearing on one or both faces more than one set of numerals, the orientation of the panel with respect to its aperture in the envelope being changeable so as to display a selected set of numerals. The envelope α is made by bending back and glueing together two flaps so that the slips g, l can be inserted from each end. The slip is a cruciform-shaped member consisting of a square centre panel and four attached square panels which are folded so that one panel is visible. Each panel carries four numbers and the arrangement is such that one number only at a time can be positioned in an aperture in the envelope. The use of both sides of each of the panels allows numbers from 1-40 to be shown if needed.
