668,648. Hand rail brackets for ladder scaffolding. FILDES, C. G. June 15, 1950 [July 11, 1949], No. 18232/49. Class 20(ii) Hand rail brackets 1 for ladder scaffolding in which staging 17 is supported on brackets 18 hooked on to the ladder rungs of two ladders are each formed with two lower hooks 6, 9 for engaging one rung 4 and an upper hook 2 engaging a higher rung 3 and has a cranked portion 11 terminating in a fork 12 for receiving the handrail 14 secured therein by nut and bolt 15, 16. The bracket 1 is formed of flat-bar iron pieces secured together in substantially L-form, the hooks being provided at the ends and corner of the L-arms.
