[Also in Group V] A briquette formed from divided coal comprises at least one concave curved side and one convex curved side opposite one another, the radius of curvature of the concave side being different from the radius of curvature of the convex side, and the distance between the two sides being substantially uniform. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of such a briquette, and Figs. 2-6 show cross - sections through other briquettes.
