Abstract

667,063. Thermal regenerators. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. May 19, 1948 [May 22, 1947], No. 13550/48. Drawing to Specification. Class 64(i) The filling material of a thermal regenerator, e.g. for a hot-gas engine or a refrigerating system, consists of fibres of animal hair having a hydraulic diameter of less than 0À1 mm. The fibres may have a flattened cross-section. The material may be a pad located between two pieces of wire cloth. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also filling material comprising glass wool, quartz wool, organic synthetic material, vegetable fibres such as cotton, paper snips and paper filament. The filaments of the material may have a circular, flattened or annular cross-section. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
