In an automatic control system such as that described in Specification 611,037, in which the aircraft is controlled in accordance with the deviation plus rate of turn from its datum attitude, the D.C. rate of turn signal is modified to attenuate its higher-frequency Fourier components by applying it to a series R.C. network and using the signal voltage across the capacitor.
