664,339. Anti - fungus wrapping paper. RIEGEL PAPER CORPORATION. Dec. 12, 1949 [Aug. 16, 1949]. No. 31882/49. Classes 96 and 140. An anti-fingus paper, e.g. sulphite paper, for wrapping bread, has an inner coating of a dialkyl dichloro succinate together with a grease-resistant, wax-immiscible filmogen and an outer coating of wax covering the inner coating. The dialkyl succinate may be the dimethyl, -ethyl or -isopropyl, the filmogen may be ethyl cellulose, cellulose acetate, nitrate, or acetate-butyrate, vinyl acetate, shellac, or zein, and the wax, which may be applied molten and may then be rapidly cooled, may be paraffin wax. The paper may be printed prior to waxing.
