Abstract
662,180. Printing - surfaces. SEMPERIT OSTERREICHISCH-AMERIKANISCHE GUMMIWERKE AKT.-GES. March 29, 1949 [April 20, 1948], No. 8543/49. Drawings to Specification. Class 100 (ii). [Also in Group VIII] A multilayer printing block comprising a thin hard printing layer, at least one soft resilient layer, such layers being of rubber mixtures, a shrink proof insertion and a further, lower, layer, has binding layers arranged in at least three places, namely between the printing layer and the cushion layer, between the cushion layer and the shrink proof insertion and between such shrink proof insertion and the following layer. A suggested composition for the binding layers in parts by weight is given as follows: 50 " Perbunan," (R.T.M.); 50 "Buna" S (R.T.M.); 5 cumarone resin; 5 colophony-brown coal-tar (1:1); 5 mineral oil; 10 zinc oxide; 40 reinforcing carbon black; 40 non-reinforcing carbon black 2 sulphur; 2 "Vulkacit" A2 (R.T.M.). In other respects the subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that described in Specification 662,179. Specification 659,924 also is referred to.
