661,876. Mica compositions. SAMICA SOC. DES APPLICATION DU MICA. May 12, 1948 [May 12, 1947, and June 12, 1947], Nos. 12978/48 and 12979/48. Class 70 [Also in Group VIII] Mica is heated at 790‹-850‹C. until it swells and then treated with water and/or acidified water. Such treatment may be before or after the mica has cooled. In examples, mica pulp is so obtained, and may be made into mica paper. A wetting- agent and/or a cement or binder may be added to the aqueous liquid. A binder specified is a melamine formaldehyde condensation product. Specification 661,777 is referred to.
