661,775. Junction pieces. DAVIES, L. G. March 21, 1950 [March 24, 1949]. No. 7982/49. Class 99 (i). A connector 20 of flexible sheet material for forming a bend of adjustable angle in a rectangular gasconveying duct 29 is partially divided at its corners and has two sides 26, 28 with edges symmetrically curved in arcuate form the centres of the arcs lying at the ends 21, 24 of the divisions and two sides 25, 27 of a free length not less than the length of the curved edges so that one of the sides 27 forms the outside of the bend and the opposite side forms a hinge piece on the inside of the bend. The corners at each end may be divided so that two bends in the same plane or at right angles to each other can be made and the connector may be of elbow or tee form. U.S.A. Specification 1,909,309 is referred to.
