[Class 97 (iii)] A set-square has a plurality of edges 2, 3 set at 30 degrees and 60 degrees to a common base-line 1 and spaced lines or markings 5 are formed or provided adjacent these edges at right angles or parallel to the base. In an alternative embodiment, which may be shaped as a 60 degree set-square, cut-out slots are provided whose edges make angles of 30 degrees or 60 degrees to one or other of two base-lines provided by the sides of the square enclosing the right angle. The slots intersect at 60 degrees and the markings are at right angles to one base and parallel with the other. The square is adapted for use in drawing equilateral triangles.
