Abstract
659,818. Sound directing appliances. KOLSTER BRANDES, Ltd., and TRIER, R. H. Oct. 10, 1947, No. 27232. [Class 13] [Also in Group XXXIX] A cone loud-speaker 5 is mounted at the top of an open column 1 lined with sound - absorbent material, and is surmounted by a conical reflector 7 diffusing the sound horizontally. The column 1 may be made of plywood curved to reduce panel resonance. Specification 659,817 is referred to.
