[Class 39(iii)] A heating apparatus for rooms comprises electric heating units 5 secured directly to the inner sides of mouldings 1 of extruded metal of good heat conductivity. e.g. aluminium alloy, the mouldings forming the skirting boards, dado borders, or picture rails of the room.. Each unit 5 is supported in a groove 2 having projections 3, 4. A. heat insulating layer 8 is secured behind the unit, the space 9 beneath the layer 8 being used to accommodate conductor wires. The mouldings 1 may be in sections.
