652,951. Tennis rackets. TRIBELHORN, E. Aug. 16, 1948, No. 21623. [Class 132 (ii)] In a tennis racket having cat gut stringing 5, the stringing round the frame 1 being protected from damage, damp and temperature by a peripheral strip 6 of vulcanized fibre, or synthetic resin, either solid or laminated, lying in a groove 3, the strip is secured to the frame by nuts and screws 7 passing radially through the frame. The stringing lies in a groove 2. The frame 1 may be laminated and may include a reinforcing strip 10 of steel or aluminium alloy which may be ribbed.
