The fork is bent at its ends to form oppositely extending portions 15 tapering to form pins 16. These pins engage in eyes 17 screwed into the signboard &c. 19. In modifications the pins 16 may be pivotally connected to the fork or as shown in Fig. 6 the pin 22 may be formed with a shoulder 23 the eye 24 and shoulder 23 having radial corrugations on their contacting surfaces, or the coupling may comprise ball joints.
