[Class 146 (i)] In a ring mechanism for a loose leaf binder the strips 3, 4 to which ring halves 1, 2 are fixed are arched longitudinally and provided with a top cover plate 7 and a press opener in the form of a projection 13 extending downwardly in the direction of the bisector of the angle between the strips 3, 4, the ring halves being opened by pressing the projection 13 against an underlying portion such as the back of the binder.
