Abstract

649,748. Junction boxes. GRUBB, R. G., and MORRIS, S. W. M. Oct. 6, 1948, No. 26096. [Class 38 (i)] A junction box 10 of insulating material whose walls 10c are provided with branches 11 has a conductor 12 embedded in its surface 10b and in the inner surfaces of the branches thereby interconnecting them. The conductor 12 may conform with the internal surface of the branches which may be tapered. Fig. 4 (not shown). The box may be used with metal conduits or plastic conduits having a metallic earthing conductor embedded therein as described in Specification 645,785.
