Abstract

Hydrogen peroxide is stabilized by adding thereto zinc and/or cadmium radicals, e.g. ionizable compounds such as the chlorides, nitrates or sulphates. Contaminating metallic ions present in the hydrogen peroxide may be replaced by zinc and/or cadmium by contacting it with compounds of the zeolite type or ion-exchange resins containing replaceable zinc and/or cadmium.
