[Class 108(i)] A portable platform step for working on a vehicle engine &c. comprises a platform of grid-like construction 15, 16, 17, or of wood, secured to a tubular support, 20, 21, 22. 23, the horizontal parts 22 being adapted to be supported on a vehicle tyre, locking plates 25 engaging the inner face of the tyre to hold the platform rigid.
