[Class 117] A rotary sieve drum, e.g. for cleaning potatoes harvested by means of a potatodigger comprises axially-spaced frame rings interconnected at spaced peripheral points by longitudinal stays 14 non-rotatably fixed thereto and wires or rods 15 secured at one end to the stays 14 and extending substantially peripherally of the drum to a point short of the adjacent stay 14 leaving a space between the stay and the free end of each of the rods or wires 15 which may be equal to the axial spacing of adjacent rods. The free ends of the wires or rods 15 may be situated somewhat outside or inside the assumed circular wall path of the stays 14. The drum described is divided into sections with different axial spacings of the rods for sizing purposes.
