[Class 37] A process of manufacturing selenium rectifiers comprises subjecting them to the vapours of an aldehyde and to the action of ammonia and/or of a material selected from the group of amines, after heat-treatment and before the application of the counter-electrode. Amines referred to are monomethylamine, dimethylamine, benzinamine, anilin, hexamethylene-tetramine. Specification 633,275 is referred to.
