[Class 120(iii)] [Also in Groups XVII and XXVIII] A holder for storing &c. electric cables &c. comprises a pair of dish-shaped side members a, b of cardboard &c. mounted on a sheetmetal &c. tube c and retained thereon by a cardboard or like sleeve d which fits over the tube, the side members being gripped between the ends of the tube, which are outwardly beaded or otherwise configured, and the abutting ends of the sleeve, the tube and sleeve each having a registering aperture to receive the inner end of the cable, and a circumferential gap between the side members being sealed by a removable strip of paper, sheet-meal &c. in which an aperture for the free end of the cable may be formed. In a modification Fig. 4, (not shown), one end of the tube c is slit to form tongues which are turned back to retain the member b. A "Zip" fastener may replace the strip f.
